And yes — we’re also talking about coffee tables. Because styling is often the missing piece between “fine” and “finished.”

The Firehouse Primary Bedroom: Warm Meets Modern

This home (if you’re new here) was rebuilt after a devastating fire. Two years later, we completed it on Halloween — a full-circle moment that still gives us chills.

What Made It Work

1. We embraced the slanted ceiling.
   Instead of fighting it, we used it to create architectural interest and leaned into symmetry with bed placement and lighting.

2. We layered texture.
   Grasscloth, woven textiles, wood tones, soft upholstery. Texture is what makes neutral rooms feel rich instead of flat.

3. We kept the color palette intentional.
   Nothing random. Every tone relates back to another material in the room.

2. Edit Ruthlessly: Less is more. Remove what doesn’t serve the moment.
